Remnant

“Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming.” Joel 2:1

Remnant Ministries is the dynamic youth ministry extending from the Orlando House of Prayer in Ocoee, Florida.

Remnant consists of youth & young adults that weekly meet in home groups, prayer gatherings and youth services to pour out God's Love, instruction and infinite power to this generation.  Remnant Ministries is a unique gathering of young people that are radical and eager to serve and worship Jesus with an incredible passion. Many people that have visited the youth services have been in awe of how God has so gripped the teenagers and young adults in the services.  This generation has been gripped with an unquenchable thirst and hunger for God and their passion for Jesus is spreading throughout our city and state. Remnant has its own band, drama team, hip hop team and dance team that minister to this generation on a weekly basis.  It is truly a cutting-edge ministry to reach this generation of young people in these last days.  Each service is packed with a powerful message displayed by God's unrelenting power that is changing a generation to become warriors for Christ!

Check out our weekly Friday Night Services from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at 495 W. Silver Star Road in Ocoee, Florida Remnant Clubs are disciple/cell groups that meet in school during school hours in a class room that's approved by leader and school staff.

We are challenging this generation to take over and conquer their schools. Our goal is to raise up Remnant Clubs all throughout Orange County and Seminole County. We are very excited to reach souls through this avenue.

Home Groups are discipleship groups that meet in leaders’ homes to build relationships, community, and accountability while growing in the Lord. There are currently 6 different Remnant Home Groups on weeknights. Get involved today!

Children’s Equipping Center (CEC)

O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens! Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infantsYou have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.” Psalm 8:1, 2

We are a primary pillar of the Orlando House of Prayer that partners with parents and leaders for the purpose of equipping and passing on to the next generation the realities, values and priorities of night and day prayer, worship and intimacy with Jesus. A team of equippers strategically developing opportunities for children of all ages to be released to pray, worship God, heal the sick through intercession and the laying on of hands, prophesy, give to the poor, preach, teach and reach the lost. A movement desiring to see children equipped with a passionate desire to walk in the fullness of God, while at the same time understanding God’s desire for them to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. The Children’s Equipping Center has 5 core values:

  1. To train and encourage children to know and love the Word of God
  2. To seek after the Power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2 outpouring)
  3. For children to seek to love, respect, obey and honor their parents
  4. To seek after a “sons of Issachar” anointing
  5. To assist the Lord in raising up an army of prayer warriors in children

Then they also brought infants to Him that He might touch them; but when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” Luke 18: 15-17

CEC currently reaches out to children through: Classes meeting during Sunday  Services at 10:00am after praise and worship. Gospel is presented according to age.

  • Nursery for infants up to age 2
  • Toddler Class for 2 and 3-year-olds
  • Pre-K for 4 and 5-year-olds
  • Elementary class for 6 to 12-year-olds

Family Prayer Watch: Friday's 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. This is intended to be a Samuel and Hannah Watch when the parent guides their child/children through the opportunities in the prayer room, letting them experience OHOP without restrictions on noise or movement.

  • Praying on the prayer mic
  • Worship Dance
  • Prophetic Art
  • Playing Instruments & Singing
  • Guided Communion
  • Praying with/for each other

Yearly Signs & Wonders Conferences Children will be equipped with a heart-felt knowledge of the Bible through godly content, creative teaching methods, resources, solid leadership and life experiences. We seek to raise up a Bible-literate generation. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to express their love for God and have a place to receive His love for them. This is the environment we have set out to create. We believe and teach children that they can be drawn into the presence of the Lord and tremble as they come to understand the His majesty. We believe that if we teach children to experience and understand His majesty, they will celebrate and rejoice knowing of the benefits of His redemption. We believe when children understand at an early age His majesty and the benefits of His redemption, they will see how worship and praise touch the heart of God, which will grow into having a more intimate relationship with Jesus. We teach children to believe that Jesus expressed the Father's heart when He called them to come to Him and compared the Kingdom of God to them (Luke 18:15–17). We believe God's power, signs and wonders are not just for adults to experience. Children, too, can walk in the boldness, zeal and power of God; to participate in ministry to one another in such a way that signs and wonders can be released through them.

Isaiah 8:18 says, “Here am I and the children whom the Lord has given me! We are for signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, Who dwells in Mount Zion." The Holy Spirit is orchestrating a global prayer strategy in these very days, and the children are a part of it!

Prophecy Rooms

Please read all information before requesting an appointment.

Philosophy of Ministry

One of the outgrowths of a continuous 24/7 prayer atmosphere is an increase in the corporate ability to hear the voice of the Lord. One way this is expressed is through our prophetic teams. Trained members of the OHOP staff serve all those who sign up for prophetic ministry. These prophetic ministers speak words of encouragement, edification, comfort and strength in the spirit of 1 Corinthians 14:1 and 3: “Pursue love and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy … He who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.” We sincerely desire to hear from the Lord on behalf of those coming for ministry so that they may be encouraged and built up in their faith.

The prophetic ministers in our prophecy rooms do not operate in the office of a prophet, but rather have learned to move in the gift of prophecy, knowing and prophesying in part (I Cor. 13:9). The prophetic ministers’ responsibility is to listen to the Holy Spirit and accurately speak what they hear; the recipients’ responsibility is to judge their words according to the Word of God. “Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast to what is good” (I Thes. 5:20–21).

We do not give strong directional words, nor are we looking for darkness or sin in people’s lives. We suggest that recipients not make major decisions based on one prophetic word, but rather pray for divine confirmation of what is spoken and discard anything to which the Holy Spirit does not bear witness.

Healing Rooms

"Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have recieved, freely give." Matthew 10:8

It is the mission of the OHOP Healing Ministry to fulfill this commission given by Jesus. We desire to see a lost, hurting, and broken people restored to the God who created them and loves them. Through the ministry of healing we are able to show believers as well as unbelievers that there is a God who loves them, who knows their needs, and is willing to meet their needs. We currently meet at the monthly ATB service and our meeting times during the ATB weekend currently are Friday night from 5pm-7pm and Saturday afternoon from 1pm-3pm.

We offer prayer for more than just physical diseases and illnesses. The same way Jesus did… we also pray for spiritual, emotional, and mental conditions.

Team

We are a group of men and women from different walks of life, who love God.We are united by the blood of Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the passion to see men and women restored to the God who loves them.

Fueled by intimacy with God in the 24/7 furnace of prayer, worship and the word. Our mission is to:

  • Provide an opportunity which will prepare you to walk into your bridal identity.
  • To reconcile your individual relationship with God the Father.
  • To help free you from the bondages that keep us from experiencing the fullness of life.
  • To heal the hurt, shame, and guilt incurred through this walk of life.

Events

Three times a year we have weekend events which consist of strong biblical teachings, intense moments of personal ministry, praise/worship experiences, private intimate times with the Lord and individual times of consultation in an atmosphere charged with the presence and personhood of the Holy Spirit.

During this weekend you may experience a freedom that you have never known before, a new confidence in God's love for you, a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit and boundless joy in the goodness of God. You are marked by His presence, His power, and His love. When you encounter God, you are forever changed by the experience. Everyone needs an encounter with God and many comeback for re-encounters. Don't miss this event!

Journey Class

Each Intensive Weekend is followed by a set of seven journey classes, which consist of three levels:

  • Foundational Teachings

Bound4Life

Visit our website at http://bound4lifeorlando.wordpress.com/

Bound4LIFE is a grassroots prayer mobilization movement targeting the ending of abortion, the increase of adoptions and the reformation of government and society through spiritual awakening. Our mission is to mobilize a groundswell of prayer through:

* “Silent Sieges” in front of courthouses and abortion clinics across the nation.

* Millions of Christians wearing “Life Bands” and making the Bound4LIFE covenant–PRAY, VOTE & OBEY.

When LIFE tape is placed over our mouths, we are identifying with the silent screams of the unborn and of those who have no voice. Our stand is not a protest, but a silent prayer meeting. We make our appeal to the Judge of the earth and ask Him for speedy justice to be released. Oh that God would subpoena the conscience of the nation! The media has taken hold of this image and spread it everywhere. It has quickly become a phenomenon that catches the eyes and hearts of the world. In our silence, we intercede on behalf of our nation and cry out to God for mercy. It is a silence that speaks louder than words. We must build up this wall! May our tears soak the sidewalks, and may a silent cry go forth all over our land!

Updates:

Our Bound4LIFE chapter has been in a season of prayer for direction and clarity. We feel the need to develop a history of prayer and intercession not just on the frontlines of clinics and the courthouse, but in the secret place. We will be holding a weekly prayer meeting focusing on the ending of abortion and God sending justice to Orlando. The prayer watch will be every Tuesday afternoon 4-6pm at the Orlando House of Prayer Missions Base (495 Silver Star Rd. Ocoee Fl, 34761)

Siege Schedule:

*The second Saturday of every month we will be having a Silent Prayer Siege at Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando (726 Tampa Ave. Orlando , Fl) the time will be 11am-1pm.

The Cries of a Child

The assassination of the democratically elected president in October 1993 marked the beginning of an on going conflict in Burundi that has claimed more than 300,000 lives and displaced 1.3 million people at its peak. In January 2006, UN agencies estimated that approximately 117,000 Burundians remained displaced, living in camps throughout the country, and an additional 448,000 Burundians lived as refugees, primarily in neighboring Tanzania. The quality of life has  continued to deterirate as the conflict has destroyed infrastructure, limited access to basic services, and reduced agricultural output. It is our mission to give orphaned children shelter, food and nurturing love, allowing them to grow up in their society with a hope for the future. Our overall purpose is to bring a hope and restoration to this war torn nation.
